Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Please refer first to the below FAQS before contacting Tamara, as the answer you seek may be covered here:

1. Where can I find Tamara's original works or murals?

Select originals and prints can be found at;

Her latest murals can be found at;

Upper Coomera State College
Robina State High School
Pimpama State High School

2. Are there prints available of every single painting Tamara's ever painted and how do I buy one?

There are limited edition fine art prints of all 12 works in Tamara's 'Women of Colour' series and these can be purchased here. There are only select 'Bold Botanicals' and 'Plant Love' works available as custom made prints and these can be found and purchased by downloading Tamara's Custom Print Collection.

3. Does Tamara accept portrait commissions?

Portrait commissions are tricky, due to a strict calendar of commitments to projects outside of Tamara's personal practice.
Currently Tamara is not able to take on any new commission work until early 2021 and non-refundable deposits for portrait works start from $1500 for a very small work. Tamara is always happy to suggest fellow artists who take on commission work more readily.
The portraits that Tamara paints for competition and solo exhibition are not commissioned works by her chosen subjects. but instead portrait paintings that align with Tamara's personal practice which focuses on 'Women of Colourful Substance'. These women are those that Tamara has crossed paths with, been inspired by or are personal close friends or family members. These portraits are funded purely by Tamara and then made available for acquisition after exhibition opportunities are exhausted.

4.  What does it cost to get a mural and can Tamara paint logos or sign write?

To find out a basic cost for a custom designed and painted mural by Tamara (in her personal aesthetic), please read through her 'Mural' services. A quote takes into consideration the size, type of surface and accessibility of the wall as well as it's location. Tamara is not a trained signwriter and as such isn't interest or experienced in this style of work, this is also the same for business logos. Search your local directory for a trained 'signwriter' if you require these services.
A basic design and on site visit starts from $550. Quotes can be provided after an online and phone consultation.

5. Can Tamara donate an artwork, merchandise, her speaking or painting services for FREE for charities, local organisations or schools?

Tamara regularly donates artwork and a large % of proceeds for a select series of works to charities and organisations she is already aligned and as such isn't looking to extend further connections. If this changes Tamara will approach charities and organisations of her choosing.

6. Can we meet up for a coffee? I'd like to pick your brains about how you market your work and run your business.

Tamara currently splits her time between developing her personal practice, running the business side of her practice and preparing current projects as well as being a mother, helping run a household and spending time with family. Due to such a busy work/life balance it can be difficult to agree to requests to meet up's with fellow creatives, entrepreneurs and friendly strangers who have contacted her via social media, email or in person.

You can book a ticket to attend one of her workshops or you can enquire about Tamara's workshop facilitation services and fees for your next private or commercial event.

7. Is Tamara's art studio open to the public?

Tamara's space is her private home studio and is not open to the general public. Some of her occasional workshop offerings take place at her home studio and this is organised well in advance, but are all on hold until 2021.

8. Does Tamara teach kids classes or offer private lessons for people of any age?

Unfortunately Tamara is not able to offer this service at present but hopes to in the coming years.

9. Can I interview Tamara for my blog or magazine?

Get in touch with the details of your platform/publication via email.
