This portrait was completed for the 'Women of Colour' series and depicts fellow artist and dear friend, Kim Leutwyler. Kim and painted each other's portraits in 2017 and planned the works at Kim's favourite natural space in Sydney, Centennial Park.
I wanted the work to show Kim's exuberance for life and her warm personality. She is a champion for her LGBQTI community and for many other artists.
