This portrait depicts Tamara's beautiful cousin Shauna seated on the roof top garden of her Brisbane home, just weeks before she graduated from a course in floristry.
"I wanted to capture Shauna's grace and youth at this exciting time in her life, pursuing a creative passion for floristry and making. I asked Shauna to walk me around some of her favourite pockets of greenery in her largely concrete neighbourhood and I was amazed at the beauty of the gardens and their ability to provide instant hits of calming energy. The rooftop garden on Shauna's building was not unlike a tropical beach hotel resort, an escape that Shauna truly is grateful living away from her family at the Gold Coast."
